The Chairman of Chanchaga Local government Council, Honourable Aminu Yakubu Ladan has joined other Nigerians as well as the family of former military President, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida to rejoice with him on his 82nd birthday.
In a message of felicitation, Chanchaga council who is the elder statesman host chairman, described the elder Babangida as a loyal and patriotic Nigerian leader have sustained his serve to the nation with passion.
Hon. Ladan stated that General Ibrahim Babangida over the years has made sacrifices towards the unity, peace and progress of Nigeria and also impacted the political landscape by offering wise counsel particularly on critical national issues.
According to him, “as you clock 82, we cannot forget your contributions to the human and infrastructural development of Nigeria as well as in mentoring of many persons who are today serving Nigeria in different areas”.
The council chairman stressed that as a young political office holder, he will continue to benefit from the former head of state’s wealth of experience in tackling some of the challenges facing his local council.
He urged elder the statesman not to be tired of availing the nation his reservoir of knowledge for the progress of the country.
Ladan wished General Babangida good health, God’s divine protection and personal fulfilment.
