National Directorate of Employment NDE Niger state has commenced the training of 20 youths under Community Base Business Training Scheme (CBBTS) to be self employed and reliant.

The Niger State Coordinator Mohammed Dantsoho Abubakar made this known during the flag off ceremony of the program in Minna, saying that the scheme is aimed at taking training to the selected community.

Dantsoho Abubakar emphasized that this will ensure adequate monitoring especially by the beneficiaries parents and guardians for effective and efficient service delivery devoid of abscond.

He maintained that the 20 participants were undergoing their various skills acquisition programmes at three centres where master trainers were posted in Soka Kahuta community of Minna, Niger state capital.

The state Coordinator, hinted that they will further goes through a week long vigorous business training after their three months training in tailoring, shoe making and allumminium cutting with monthly N5,000 stipends for transportation and will be entitled to N25,000 to set up their businesses on completion.
