The new Leadership to pilot the affairs of the Niger state chapter of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has emerged with Awalu Mohammed Doma elected as the state chairman.

This was announced by the outgoing acting chairman, Alhaji Umar Farouk Adamu Auta who is the national organizing secretary from Nassarawa state at the inauguration after the state congress in Minna.

The new party Vice Chairman is Aliyu Ibrahim while Kabiru Mohammed emerged as the Secretary and Saidu Ibrahim Kowa became the Treasurer just as Hauwa Abubakar emerged as the Financial Secretary and Ahmed Aliyu Lanle as Youth Leader.

Others include; Shuaibu Tanko Organizing secretary, Hussaini Ibrahim Publicity secretary, Mustapha Yahaya Imam Legal Adviser and Aisha Musa as the Woman leader among others.

In his acceptance speech, the newly sworn in chairman, Awalu Mohammed Doma thanked the party stakeholders for finding him worthy and assured to justify the confidence reposed in him, while he appealed for support and cooperation of everyone to succeed.

The outgoing acting chairman Alhaji Umar Farouk Adamu Auta said the past wrongs has been corrected hence the affirmation of the new 27 State Executive Committee and appreciate the peaceful conduct as well as the cordial relationship and cooperation accorded him within the period as caretaker chairman in the state.

The State elder of the party and the 2023 Niger East Senatorial candidate of NNPP,  Alhaji Umar Danladi Abdulhamid said this will mark a new dawn in preparation to the 2027 elections in Niger state and Nigeria.
