A non governmental organisation, Xpolits Consulting limited has donated learning materials to female students in 3 schools in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Schools visited included; Junior Secondary School, Gwarimpa,
Junior Secondary School, Kwali Central, Kwali and Government Secondary School, Giri, Gwagwalada.

Speaking yesterday while donating the items which included; book, pen, pencil, eraser, back pack, sanitary pad and school uniform, the principal partner, Xploits Consulting, Dr Tayo Taiwo who was represented by Director Communications, Mrs Grace Taiwo, said 11th October every year has been set aside to celebrate the girl child, adding that 50 students were chosen from every school.

She advised the girls to face their studies as “this is another opportunity for them to return to school and not to be in the streets.

Speaking further she said the project was supported by Access bank as part of the bank’s corporate social Responsibility ( CSR) where funds and resources are channeled into impacting people’s live positively.

She implored the girls to make sure they remain in school and not go back to the streets.

Appreciating the gesture, the principal GSS Giri, Gwagwalada, Mr Emmanuel Agbebaku on behalf of the other principals thanked Xploits Consulting and Access Bank plc for the gifts.

On her part, Miss Victoria Friday who spoke on behalf of the recipients thanked Access Bank plc for coming to their aid by ensuring they remain in school and promised that they would make proper use of the opportunity given them.
